Damp Proof Membranes (DPM)

Damp proof membranes (DPM) are used beneath concrete floor slabs and screeds to prevent ground moisture entering buildings. Typically installed on prepared sub-bases before concrete is poured, DPM sheets create a continuous moisture barrier that protects flooring systems and internal finishes.

For complete moisture protection systems, DPM is often used alongside damp proof courses (DPC) installed within masonry walls.
