Product Description

Aquaban is an effective water repellent, formulated from solvent free silicone/siloxane emulsion primarily used to prevent water penetration in buildings through the exterior structure, but can be applied to a multitude of substrates. Surfaces treated remain vapour permeable, which ensures moisture does not remain trapped in the structure, which could cause issues in future.

Aquaban is applied to the outside of the property and does not require any plaster removal etc inside the property so creates no mess or disruption in a home or business.

Aquaban comes with a manufacturer’s 10 year written guarantee.

Application

• Using a brush, lambswool roller or low pressure pneumatic spray equipment, liberally apply one coat of Aquaban.
• For highly porous substrates, such as untreated stone or brick, the second coat can be applied shortly after.
• For less porous substrates allow for 2 hours drying time before applying the second coat.
• In exceptional circumstances a further coat may be necessary.
