Product Description

Our 110mm Cob Plugs are high-performance mechanical fixings designed for securing cavity drain membranes and insulation materials to masonry substrates where strong pull-out resistance is required.

Manufactured from durable virgin polypropylene, each plug features an integrated expansion system. When the fixing pin is driven into the centre, the plug expands within the substrate, delivering a tight, secure grip — ideal for both below-ground waterproofing systems and above-ground damp proofing applications.

The large 50mm diameter head provides excellent load distribution and a solid surface for membrane retention, helping maintain system integrity during installation and over the long term.

Installation

1. Drill hole – Use a 10mm SDS masonry drill bit
2. Depth – Drill to at least 10mm deeper than the plug length
3. Insert plug – Position through the membrane and tap into place with a rubber mallet
4. Drive pin – Insert and hammer the fixing pin into the centre
5. Secure fixing – The plug expands within the substrate, creating a strong mechanical grip
